Legendary Armenian football player Nikita Simonyan has been awarded the Order of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia, according to the website of the Football Union of Russia.
Nikita Simopnyan is the Vice-President of the Football Union of Russia, Olympic Champion of Melbourne 1956, an outstanding football player and coach.
The award ceremony took place at the Olympic Committee of Russia last week.
“I accepted the high award of the National Olympic Committee of Armenia with a feeling of deep respect and gratitude,” Nikita Simonyan said.
