Aliyev agrees to meet with Armenian President: What will Yerevan say?

The next meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents is planned to be held by the end of the year, Russian Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Igor Popov said after the meeting with Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev, APA reports. Popov said Aliyev has agreed to hold such a meeting.

“The co-chairs will leave for Yerevan today. They will discuss this issue with the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan. A formal statement will be issued after the question is discussed in Armenia. We hope that the meeting can be held by the end of the year.

Asked about whether the meeting will be held on the sidelines of any event, the co-chair said they are currently working on it.
