Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Karen Mirzoyan met in Yerevan with EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Philippe Lefort.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on a number of regional issues. They also touched upon the process of peaceful settlement of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh. In this context, the sides emphasized the importance of the efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs and the necessity of supporting them.
The parties expressed their interest in continuation and intensification of such contacts. Karen Mirzoyan invited Philippe Lefort to visit Artsakh within the framework of his mandate to learn about the current realities on the ground.
