Air Armenia operates the first flight from Rostov-on-Don to Yerevan

Air Armenia operated its first passenger flight from Rostov-on-Don to Yerevan. The flight was made by a leased Boing 737-500. A newly-wed couple was among the passengers.

The regular flights to Moscow will be launched on October 27.

So far, Air Armenia has been operating charter flights to various destinations in the CIS, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa.

According to the company’s official website, it has been operating scheduled cargo flights with Antonov-12 full-freighter aircraft to Frankfurt Hahn Airport in Germany, which has been used as a cargo hub for all inbound and outbound cargo shipped between Armenia and various points worldwide.
