OSCE monitoring suspended because of firing from Azerbaijani side

The planned monitoring of the OSCE Mission in the Hardut direction of the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan was suspended because of submachine gun shots from the Azerbaijani side in the direction of the positions of the NKR Defense Army.

The shots were registered by the monitoring groups of both sides.

Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk, who headed the mission from the Armenian side, the mission decided to suspend the monitoring for security considerations.
