The Armenian National Assembly voted 103 to 3 today to elect Gevorg Kostanyan new Prosecutor General of Armenia.
A total of 106 of 131 Members of Parliament participated in the secret voting; two ballots were considered invalid.
The lawmakers later started the consideration of the President’s amnesty proposal. The draft bill was discussed and approved by the Standing Committee of State-Legal Issues before it was brought to the floor of the National Assembly.
