Newly appointed US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick said after his meeting with NKR President Bako Sahakyan that he has come to listen to and learn about the approaches of all parties.

The American Co-Chair said they are seeking for realistic ways for establishment of peace and stability.

James Warlick spoke about the “second way” of settlement of the issue. The first way aims to reach a solution through negotiations and the OSCE is working in that directions. The second way, he said, should develop parallel to it. This envisages implementation of confidence-building measures and development of contacts between peoples.

After the meeting with the NKR President the US Co-Chair headed for the line of contact to participate in the OSCE monitoring.
