On September 12 FIFA released the new ranking of national teams. The Armenian national team has climbed from 66th to 54th position, the Football Federation of Armenia reports.
Spain tops the list followed by Argentina and Germany.
Armenia’s opponents in 2014 World Cup qualifying group are placed as follows: Italy is fourth, Denmark is 23rd, the Czech Republic is 33rd, Bulgaria is 64th, and Malta is 142nd.
