Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has issued a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, President’s Press Office reports. The message reads:
“Dear Representatives of the Jewish community of Armenia,
I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of the Jewish New Year – Rosh Hashanah.
Cultural, civilizational and political ties of our two nations are centuries and millennia long. We are glad that in course of time they become richer also thanks to the efforts of the Jewish community living and working in Armenia.
Today, we share your joy and wish our Jewish compatriots festive mood, recurrent success in the communal as well as personal life.”
