Exhibition dedicated to Rome’s cultural heritage opens in Yerevan

Ahead of the European Heritage Days in Armenia, a photo exhibition dedicated to the legacy and unique beauty of Rome – a coeval of Yerevan – opened at the “Erebuni” Historical & Archaeological Museum-Reserve today.

Forty photos presented at the exhibition picture the Coliseum, the Trajan’s Forum, the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, the Capitoline Hill, the Villa Pamphil, the Villa Borghese, other examples of monumental heritage of Rome.

The exhibition titled “Rome: The coeval of my city” will be on display until October 30.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of EU Delegation to Armenia Traian Hristea, Italian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia Bruno Skapini, Yerevan’s Deputy Mayor Aram Sukiasyan, Chairman of the Armenian Union of Architects Mkrtich Minasyan.
