“We will do everything possible to support any initiative related to the peaceful resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict”, – said Abdullah Gül. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is one of the most urgent problems standing on the agenda of the Turkic world. As reported, quoting the Azerbaijani media, the statement came from the Turkish President Abdullah Gül at the third summit of the Cooperation Council of the Turkic-speaking states in Gabala. The President of Turkey, being the OSCE Minsk Group country member, this time as well did not shine with a diplomatic tact, noting as a settlement base only that Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is a part of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Moreover, Gül gave way to the Turkic itch, expressing his hope that “one day we will all gather in one of the towns in Karabakh”.
