On 19 July President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received Defense Minister of the Republic of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan.
A number of issues related to army-building and cooperation between the two Armenian states in this sphere were discussed during the meeting, attended by Artsakh’s Defense Minister Movses Hakobyan.
The meeting subsequently continued in an enlarged format with the participation of RA Defense Ministry’s delegation.
President Sahakyan emphasized the importance of giving a new quality to the works in this direction and elaborating long-term programs, pointing out that such an approach would give a new impetus to the country’s economic development and effective utilization of its potential.
