On 17 July President of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan received the official delegation of the Australian State of New South Wales.
A wide range of issues related to the development of relations between New South Wales and Artsakh was discussed during the meeting.
President Sahakyan expressed gratitude to the authorities and people of the New South Wales state for supporting Artsakh and de-facto recognizing the independence of the country, adding that it was a significant political and moral step on the path of international recognition of Artsakh and establishment of bilateral relations.
The sides mentioned the existence of all the necessary conditions for cooperation and resoluteness to work in this direction, Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President reported.
