Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received the delegation headed by Mark Horton, IMF Mission Chief for Armenia.
The parties discussed the current state of Armenian economy and the possible developments, the reforms implemented in different spheres and improvement of the business environment.
Touching upon the situation in the agriculture sector after the heavy hailstorms, Mark Horton noted that the reaction of the Armenian Government and the Central Bank to the settlement of the issue was rapid and well-targeted.
Mark Horton underlined that the budget deficit remains within the predicted limits, which will help maintain economic stability.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to ongoing and future joint programs.
