“Ari Tun 2013” program kicked off at the Ministry of Diaspora today. It will be implemented in eight stages, and will continue through August 31. About 1,000 youth aged 13-20 from more than 30 countries are expected to participate in the program this year.
Ninety-two young people from 10 countries of the world have applied for participation in the first stage of the program.
The participants of the first stage will visit the communities of Yerevan, as well as settlements in the regions of Kotayk and Ararat.
This year the program will offer Armenian language courses, also as a number of leisure and cognitive events. Meetings with statesmen and renowned art figures will be organized.
