The delegation headed by the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Yuri Khachaturov, has left for Italy for a three-day official visit at the invitation of Admiral Luigi Binelli Mantelli, the Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of Italy.
Within the framework of the visit Yuri Khachaturov will meet with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Italy and a number of high-ranking servicemen of the Italian army.
The parties will discuss issues related to the expansion of cooperation between the Defense Ministries of the two countries and the involvement of Armenian peacekeepers in the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL),
