Croatia appoints new Ambassador to Armenia

On June 3 the newly appointed Ambassador of Croatia to Armenia, Ivan Starčević (seat in Athens), presented the copies of his credentials to Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan.

Congratulating the Ambassador on appointment, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan voiced hope that the Armenian-Croatian relations would further deepen during his term in office.

The Deputy Foreign Minister added that Armenia attaches importance to the reinforcement of multifaceted cooperation with Croatia, which meets the interests of our countries and peoples.

Ambassador Starčević noted that he would spare no effort to contribute to the expansion of cooperation.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the reinforcement of the political dialogue between the two countries, expansion of inter-parliamentary and trade-economic ties, deepening of cooperation in the fields of science, education and culture.

Reference was made to the cooperation with the European Union.
