“Radiolur”
A new national instrument – bas qanun – has been created in Armenia. The author of the idea is composer Ara Gevorgyan, the instrument was created by Albert Zakaryan.
This new Armenian national instrument has already been registered in intellectual property agencies.
Ara Gevorgyan believes the instrument will be widely used not only in Armenia, but also abroad.
Yesterday the composer discussed with the Minister of Culture the issue of registering the bas qanun in UNESCO’s cultural heritage list to avoid senseless disputes with neighbors in the future.
