Relatives of Lyuks Stepanyan, a conscript of the Armenian Armed Forces, who was killed in one of the military units earlier this weak, returned to their native village of Verin Getashen in Gegharkunik region accompanied by Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and Chief of police Vladimir Gasparyan.
The Defense Minister assured the relatives that the guilty will be punished.
This morning Lyuks Stepanyan’s relatives tried to transport his body to Yerevan to stage an act of protest in front of the government building.
Stepanyan died of a gunshot wound in a shooting earlier this week.
