Genocide scholar Israel Charny donates his library to the Armenian Genocide Museum Institute

Famous genocide scholar, editor-in-chief of the Encyclopedia of Genocide Israel Charny has presented his personal library to the Armenian Genocide Museum Institute (AGMI). The library includes about 700 volumes on genocide studies, including books about the Holocaust and the Armenian Genocide, AGMI Director Hayk Demoyan wrote on his Facebook page.

According to Demoyan, this year AGMI intends to open a separate room at the library in honor of Israel Charny. This is the largest donation to the Museum-Institute in the course of the past five years. It will provide an opportunity to conduct research work in the field of comparative genocide studies.
