Armenia international and FC Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan has repeated the goal-scoring record in the Ukrainian Premier League after helping his side win in a weekend game against Zarya.
So far only two players have scored as many as 22 goals in one season in Ukraine’s top division.
The 24-year-old Armenian now has six rounds to break the record.
Mkhitaryan said in an interview with Shakhtar’s official website he will present his boots to a fan, when he scores the 23rd goal.
