Aznavour reminds Hollande about Genocide bill

Famous French Armenian singer, Armenia’s Ambassador to Switzerland Charles Aznavour has criticized the stance of the ruling Socialist Party of France on the adoption of a bill criminalizing the denial of the Armenian Genocide.

Speaking on RTL TV Channel, Aznavour addressed French President Francois Hollande, urging the latter to “change his policy” on the adoption of the bill criminalizing the Armenian Genocide and “hurry up,” Nouvelled d’Armenie reports.

Speaking about the Socialists’ position on the issue, Aznavour said: “The Socialist party annoys me. Every time there is something about Armenians, they vote against us.”
