US Secretary of State John Kerry is traveling to Turkey and Israel this weekend to build on the two nations’ efforts to repair ties, AP reports.
Kerry will also discuss regional concerns, including Syria and the Mideast peace process.
Catherine Ashton, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the Commission also visits Turkey today.
In Ankara she will meet Prime Minister Tayyip Erdoğan and Foreign Minister Davutoğlu for comprehensive discussions on a broad range of issues, including bilateral relationship between the European Union and Turkey as well as a number of foreign policy issues.
