Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryn has been voted the best player of Shakhtar in March. A total of 1,316 fans took part in the voting.
Mkhitaryan tops the list of best players with 478 (36.32%) votes, followed by Fernandinho (410 votes or 31.16%) and Darijo Srna (80 votes or 6.08%).
The top five includes also Yaroslav Rakitskiy with 57 (4.33%) votes and Dmytro Hrechyshkin with 50 (3.80%) votes.
This is only the first part of the traditional player of the month scheme. Now we are going to interview ten veterans of Shakhtar and the same number of sports journalists. After that, the winner will be decided, Shaktar’s official website informs.
