The demands included in the letter addressed to the President are the minimum threshold, leader of the Heritage Party said at a press conference at the Liberty Square.
Hovannisian said he would decide when to stop the hunger strike and that he would no more go to the presidential residence and wants people to witness the negotiations.
“If there is political will, this unprecedented situation will be solved,” Hovhannisyan said. “The only legitimate power in the country belongs to people, and every step is targeted at strengthening the people’s victory,” he added.
Speaking about the elections to the Yerevan City Council, Hovhannisyan said they intend to turn the capital into a “cultural, public, educational and healthcare center.”
