Hovik Abrahamyain is not eligible to make any proposal, leader of the Heritage Party Raffi Hovhannisyan told reporters today. According to him, the visit of the Armenian Parliament Speaker last night was a sign of politeness. “He has not suggested me anything. I said I don’t see him as a mediator,” Hovhannisyan said.
Raffi Hovhannisyan said his interlocutor is Serzh Sargsyan, and he has not received any suggestions from the President. “Mr. Abrahamnyan cannot say anything on behalf of Mr. Sargsyan,” he added.
Raffi Hovhannisyan said he’s ready to listed to President Serzh Sargsyan’s suggestions, but only if they are of nationwide importance, and if the right of people is reflected in them.
Touching upon the position of the European People’s Party on the Armenian elections, Raffi Hovhannisyan did not exclude the Heritage could review its membership to EPP.
