Armenian Ambassador to Japan Hrant Poghosyan participated in the regional meeting of the Landlocked Developing Countries in Vientiane, Laos.
The meeting was aimed at effectiveness of implementation of the Almaty Programme of Action in Eurasian landlocked countries, assess the challenges and develop ways of progress, particularly in the spheres that will be incorporated in the new Programme of Action.
The Vientiane Consensus adopted as a result of the sitting will be placed at the 69th session of ESCAP’s Commission which will meet in Bangkok from 25 April to 1 May 2103, before being transmitted as this region’s contribution to the global final review of the Almaty Programme of Action in 2014.
