The Armenian National Competitiveness Foundation along with 17 tourism companies will represent Armenia at the ITB’2013 International Travel Trade Show in Germany on March 6-10.
More than 9,800 companies from about 180 countries are expected to participate in the event this year.
Besides materials advertising the historical-cultural values, this time the participants will present information about the protected areas in Armenia. The initiative aims to promote ecotourism in Armenia.
The German market is one of the target directions for the promotion of Armenian tourism, and the efforts in that direction promise good results, the National Competitiveness Foundation said.
