An exhibition of ice sculptures will be held in Jermuk from March 8 to 10, President of the “Jermuk Development Center” NGO Artashes Arakelyan informs. The festival is held for the forth time in a row with the support of the Jermuk City Hall, businessmen and volunteers.
Author of the initiative, President of the Armenian Extreme Club NGO Gor Hovhannisyan hopes the festival will turn into an international one in a few years.
“The festival aims to promote the development of winter tourism in Jermuk, he said. The authors of the three best sculptures will get prizes. The festival will be accompanies by a number of other events.
