“President Serzh Sargsyan is informed about Serj Tankian’s second letter,” President’s Spokesman Armen Arzumanyan said to news.am.
“As the President noted in his response, he agrees with the majority of the questions raised by Mr. Tankian, and he has declared about this on many occasions. The President considers that everything or almost everything has been said during the election campaign and now it’s time to act. The changing reality should give answers to all questions,” Armen Arzumanyan said.
“Thankful to the world-known singer and a good Armenian for his active stance, the President hopes that the famous rock-group’s big concert in Armenia will mark the start of the events envisaged ahead of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide,” the Spokesman said.
Serj Tankian addressed an open letter to President Serzh Sargsyan yesterday, to which the President responded.
