Azerbaijani forces killed an Armenian soldier at the line of contact between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan, Press Service of the NKR Defense Ministry informs.
“Conscript Gor Ghazaryan, 21, was shot dead by enemy fire on Tuesday at the Karabakh frontline’s north-eastern sector,” Karabakh’s Defense Ministry said in a statement.
According to a presidential decree, Gor Ghazaryan has been posthumously awarded with a Medal “Medal “For Service in Battle.”
Investigation into the details of the incident is underway.
