The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia expresses its concern connected with presidential candidate Andrias Ghukasyan’s hunger strike, especially considering the recent mass media reports on his deteriorated health condition.
“Concerned about the Andrias Ghukasyan’s health, the CEC urges his to stop the hunger strike and take measures to avoid further aggravation of his health condition,” the CEC said in a statement.
The CEC also called on the Ministry of Health to examine the candidate’s health condition and announce the opinion of the specialists.
