Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission Tigran Mukuchyan presented two initiatives of the Commission, which, according to him, will help ensure greater transparency of the presidential elections.
From now on it is possible to get complete information about the voter lists. For example, it will be possible to see who is registered under the concrete address. Besides, all sitting so the Central Electoral Commission will be broadcast on-line on the website of the CEC.
The initiatives have been approved by the OSCE Yerevan Office and the USAID. Representatives of the above-mentioned organizations have welcomed the initiatives, expressing confidence that they will contribute to the raise of trust in the electoral processes.
