Presidential candidate Raffi Hovhannisyan received UK Ambassador to Armenia Catherine Leach.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the process of the election campaign. They attached importance to the conduct of free and fair elections in line with international standards.
Yesterday members of Raffi Hovhannisyan’s campaign headquarters Armen Martirosyan, Gevorg Kalenchyan, Styopa Safaryan and Hovsep Khurshudyan met with representatives of the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly’s election observation mission. Issues related to the forthcoming presidential elections were discussed.
The observers were introduced to the letter sent to incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan, which suggests 15 points for conducting the first free, fair and legal elections in the course of 20 years.
