On January 17 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his Georgian counterpart Ms. Maia Panjikidze who arrived in Armenia with Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili.
The Ministers discussed issues related to the implementation of the agreements reached during the meeting between President Serzh Sargsyan and Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, as well as during the talks between the Prime Ministers of Armenia and Georgia.
The Ministers reaffirmed that there are no problems in the relations between the two countries, and there are questions which are solved by joint efforts.
The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and Georgia touched upon a number of regional and global issues of mutual interest.
An agreement was reached to continue the discussions during the visit of Edward Nalbandian to Georgia in February.
