President Serzh Sargsyan held a New Year reception for the business community today. The President wished success to entrepreneurs in the coming year.
Serzh Sargsyan spoke about the results of 2012, the growth expected in different branches of economy, the 2012 budget execution.
The President thanked businessmen not only for the ongoing activities, initiatives and their results, but also for the cooperation throughout the year, for responding to the challenges facing the state and the people.
“The efforts towards establishment of a more favorable business environment will be continuous and consistent,” the President said, adding that “the results should be tangible.”
“We’ll continue to develop and modernize the tax and customs systems, the role of the fair judicial system will become crucial,” he said.
“It’s important for us that every coming year becomes more effective than the previous one without economic and political shocks,” the President said.
He added that the government-business dialogue and cooperation will continue in the future. “We already have a positive experience and tangible results here. These achievements should be reinforced, and the cooperation should deepen,” Serzh Sargsyan stated.
