Midfielder of the Armenian national team and FC Shakhtar and Henrikh Mkhitaryan has been short-listed for the World’s Most Popular Footballer Amongst Currently Active Players in 2012 vote conducted by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) to decide the most popular football player in 2012.
The vote will run until January 3, 2013; one can support Henrikh directly on the IFFHS website. The list of Mkhitaryan’s midfielder’s rivals include Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Radamel Falcao, Antonio Valencia, Edin Dzeko, Francesco Totti, Tim Cahill, Lorik Zahn and others.
