“The process of settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict raises serious concerns. I hope that he Foreign Ministers [of Armenia and Azerbaijan] will meet in Dublin and will manage to reach common understanding to come forth with a joint statement with the Mink Group Co-Chairs and move forward,” OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zanier said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
He said “it’s important to move forward, especially considering the forthcoming presidential elections in Armenia and Azerbaijan.”
“The parties must demonstrate political will to reach a peaceful settlement of the issue through negotiations and effective implementation of their commitments. I mean the maintenance of the ceasefire regime and the creation of mechanisms of investigation of border incidents,” Zanier said.
