Leader of the Heritage Party Raffi Hovhannisyan says he does not regret having visited Baku. He will visit Azerbaijan again, if invited, Raffi Hovhannisyan told reporters today. Meanwhile Head of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Bureau’s Hay Dat and Political Affairs Office Kiro Manoyan says we don’t have to not participate in every event organized by Baku.
Summing up the results of his participation in the Baku-hosted International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP), Raffi Hovhannisyan said “it was the first time representatives of many countries had a chance to hear an Armenian viewpoint on the Karabakh issue, whereas before they had heard only the Azeri side of things.”
Hovhannisyan said “Armenia must be present at all such events to balance the diplomatic omissions.” Kiro Manoyan does not share the opinion that Armenia should attend all similar events.
Raffi Hovhannisyan reconfirmed his decision to run for President in 2013. He said would be glad to accept the support of different parties and political movements.
