President Serzh Sargsyan will pay an official visit to the Republic of Lebanon November 26-28.
Within the framework of the visit Serzh Sargsyan will have meetings with the leadership of the country – President Michel Suleiman, Chairman of the National Assembly Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Najib Mikati and MPs.
President Sargsyan will meet also with representatives of the Lebanese Armenian community. The President will visit Antelias to meet with his Holiness Aram I, the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia.
Serzh Sargsyan will visit the Haigazian University, where he will meet with the students, faculty and staff of the four leading universities of Lebanon.
Also, Serzh Sargsyan will meet with President of the Armenian Evangelical Church in the Middle East, Reverent Mkrtich Karagyozyan. He will visit Zmmar to participate in the opening of a cultural center dedicated to the 500th anniversary of Armenian printing and will attend an exhibition of ancient manuscripts and books.
A number of documents aimed at reinforcing the cooperation between Armenia and Lebanon will be signed within the framework of the visit.
