Armenia, UAE sign an Air Services Agreement

The United Arab emirates and Armenia have signed an Air Services Agreement (ASA).

The ASA, signed by UAE Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian provides the legal framework for regulation and cooperation in air services.

The two countries agreed that any number of designated airlines of both parties will have the right to perform scheduled air services between the two countries, including the exercise of fifth freedom traffic rights.

The two ministers tackled a host of issues of mutual interest and latest regional developments.
