Another quake hits Iran, felt in Armenia

A magnitude 4.7 earthquake was registered overnight 44 km northwest of Ahar, Iran, the Armenian National Survey for Seismic Protection reports.

The hypocenter of the quake was at the depth of 15 km. The earthquake measured 6 at the epicenter.

The tremor was felt in the southern regions of Armenia, in particular in the cities of Kajaran and Kapan.
