“Zvartnots” Airport faces serious problems because of Armavia’s failure to pay the debts, and the latter’s flights may be completely banned soon, Deputy Director of Zvartnots Airport Pavel Manukyan told reporters today. He said all their efforts to settle the issues with Armavia have been useless.
“We have always had problems with Armavia, but the debt has never exceeded 93 mln AMD,” he said.
The Deputy Director of Zvartnots applies to President Serzh Sargsyan to help solve the problem, as they have no other levers to pressure Armavia.
Pavel Manukyan said they are going to file a lawsuit against Armavia, but the date has not been fixed yet.
While representatives of Zvartnots Airport say the air company has not made any payments in the past two months, representatives of Armavia insist that they have been periodically paying off the dept.
