Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan invited representatives of opposition parties to join the struggle against corruption. He said he had received an instruction from President Serzh Sargsyan to take decisive steps including ‘surgical methods’ to register tangible results in the fight against corruption.

The Prime Minister will call a sitting of the Anti-Corruption Committee. Representatives of opposition parties, NGOs and international organizations will be invited to participate in it.

“We are not satisfied with the struggle against corruption. I think we must strengthen the cooperation with the civil society,” Tigran Sargsyan said.

He suggested the members of government to present the list of NGOs, the cooperation with which could be effective. “Those organizations will also participate in the discussions on the fight against corruption,” the PM said.
