NATO Week to be held in Armenia November 1-8

The NATO Week will be held in Armenia November 1-8 under the Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Program (IPAP).

Within the framework of the event representatives of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UK and US Embassies in Armenia and NATO will deliver lectures for students of the Gyumri State Pedagogic University after M. Nalbandian.

The seminar titled “Reinforcement of cooperation security: Additional implementation of NATO’s New Partnership Policy” dedicated to NATO’s New Partnership Policy will be held in Yerevan.  The event will feature high-ranking officials from NATO, representatives of the Armenian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense, political scientists, experts and NGO representatives.

A space bridge for Armenian peacekeepers in Afghanistan and their friends will be organized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The NATO Week will be completed by the conduct of a roundtable discussion on “NATO as a military-political alliance: Issues of Development and Reformation.”
