Chief coach of the Armenian national football team Vardan Minasyan expects a good game tomorrow, as it is the guarantee of success. “It’s impossible to achieve good results with a poor game against Italy,” the coach told reporters today.
“Italy has always been tactically well prepared. One of the peculiarities of Italy is that it is playing a creative football today.”
Minasyan deemed Italian boss Cesare Prandelli as one of the best coaches in the history of Italian football. “He’s a strong coach and manages to find different solutions during the match,” Minasyan said.
“Of course, any team has its weak sides, but they almost lack in case of Italy. We’ll be trying to play well,” he added.
Armenia vs. Italy qualifier will take place at Yerevan’s Hrazdan Stadium on October 12. The two teams have never faced each other in the past.
