Today Armenia celebrates Teacher’s Day. Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan noted in his congratulatory address that “teachers are apostles in the field of education, who manage to spread light towards knowledge, faith and real values.”
“Teachers are also the main supporters of educational reforms, in charge of their success,” the Minister added.
Armen Ashotyan extended his warm congratulations to all teachers in Artsakh, Javakhk and Diaspora, who have assumed the important task of maintaining Armenian national identity outside the borders of Armenia.
This evening the Teacher’s Day will be celebrated at Aram Khachatryan Hall. The event will be attended by Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan, other officials and teachers.
