“Radiolur”
The annual “Academy” award ceremony was held at the Armenian National Academy of Sciences today. This year’s prize was handed to young physicist Vazgen Sargsyan.
The “Academy” Award established in 2011 aims to encourage young scientists. Every year the award will be handed in one particular field of science.
The prize is meant for works published in scientific magazines during the two years preceding the competition.
Academician-secretary of the National Academy of Sciences Hrant Marevosyan noted that the rules of the competition are the rather strict, therefore only six young scholars submitted their works.
Laureate of the award Vazgen Sargsyan emphasized the importance of the award, noting that such appreciation is really encouraging.
