President Serzh Sargsyan received a group of leading French entrepreneurs

President Serzh Sargsyan received the well-known French businessman working in the area of telecommunications Serzh Tchuruk and a group of leading French entrepreneurs, Presidnet’s Press Office reports.

The President of Armenia welcomed visit of the delegation to our country and underscored that Armenia and France have warm, friendly and special relations. According to Serzh Sargsyan, the centuries-long Armenian-French amity is conditioned by the close historical relations and by the presence of the Armenian-French community which serves a unique bridge between the two nations. In the President’s words, Armenians all over the world are fond of France, rich French culture and system of values.

Serzh Sargsyan noted that in the last twenty years that passed after the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and France, the bilateral relations have registered considerable progress and Armenia is keenly interested in deepening them further and in expanding cooperation with France in every area.
Serzh Tchuruk stressed that he and his friends, who have arrived to Armenia on a get-to-know visit and have already familiarized with the history and culture of the Armenian people, came for that exact reason. According to the renowned French businessman, in the framework of the visit they want to familiarize with the Armenian economy, investment climate and ongoing programs, to discuss at the meetings the possibilities of establishing new French enterprises and making new investments, contributing thus to the expansion and deepening of the bilateral trade and economic relations.

President Sargsyan presented to the French entrepreneurs priorities of our economy, ongoing and perspective programs, implemented reforms and successfully developing cooperation between Armenia and EU.
