Midfielder Gevorg Ghazaryan will not participate in Armenia’s Euro 2020 qualification matches against Greece and Italy, the Football Federation of Armenia reports.
Ghazaryan felt a slight pain in the knee after the first training. He participated in the second training, but pain continued to bother.
Initial examination revealed knee problems, meaning Ghazaryan will not be able to participate in the matches against Greece and Italy.
Armenia will host Greece on November 15 and play Italy on November 18 as part of UEFA Euro 2020 qualification. The training session will take place at the Football Academy in Yerevan from November 11 to 16.
